The halo over a controversial public figure signifies a lighted path in an uncertain direction. Cliff's state of mind right now is he feels he is in the right concerning a prolonged public dispute.
Judge Thomas signifies a man carrying a burden. Although Cliff feels he is right he is also burden down by his convictions on the matter.
The grey hair signifies wisdom and experience. Cliff is no stranger to controversy so it would be wise for him to consider all sides and keep judgement out until he feels nothing on the table has been excluded and all involved has been included.
The dominate symbol in this pic is Judge Clarence Thomas. God's message to Cliff is get your own matters straight before god, before you pass judgement on your neighbor. This party is just beginning. ; )
